Biography

…Heather’s life revolves around the music industry. Raised in gospel music and performing on the road at the age of 12, it was her innate desire to share her talent on stages across the continent. She has appeared nationally and abroad… the Grand Ole Opry, Ritz Carltons, Hilton and MGM Hotel Circuits, Cruise Lines, National Conventions, performed as a back-up vocalist for many Celebrities, entertained for most of the major Hotel Venues in Las Vegas….the Mirage Hotel for 14 years and most recently featured at Bellagio in the popular “Petrossians”.

Her journey started at age 4 on piano and stringed instruments and progressed through her young years studying piano, guitar, vocals, and music theory. She moved on to study at the UNLV Music Department Vocal Program in the fall of 1976. She worked for RMS Recording Studio during college and recorded numerous jingles and soundtracks, traveled abroad to Switzerland to study French and Opera, and returned to Las Vegas to Graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree from UNLV in 1982.

Her passion for composing and song-writing is portrayed in her album “Portrait”, which paints her original theme driven melodies and haunting vocal harmonies on a canvas of alluring instrumental arrangements.

Heather teaches the SLS Vocal Technique in her studio on a daily basis, as well as song-writing, piano theory, guitar, performance, and mic and recording techniques.
